About Shipping and Handling

We currently deliver to major cities across India where India Post has service.

As you place the order, we will make the arrangements for shipping the products to you. The schedules of shipping will as be mentioned by us. We are liable for any delays in the procedure of shipment and will convey to you in case of such delays and seek your approval to ship the goods.

Currently, each order may be shipped only to a single destination address. If you wish to ship merchandise to different addresses, you shall need to place multiple orders.

We ship on all week days (Monday to Saturday), excluding public holidays.

Typically, all Karnataka, Goa based deliveries are completed within 3-5 days post shipment and outside these centres’ deliveries are completed within 4-5 days post shipment, excluding the date of shipping.

While we shall endeavour to ship all merchandise in your order together, this may not always be possible due to merchandise characteristics, or availability

We are keen to mention upfront that we cannot arrange for reverse shipment of goods because of the unavailability of reverse pickup services from our logistic partners. In such a case, you may be required to send the products through any kind of courier service.

Kindly note the risk of loss and damage is passed to you as soon as the product is delivered to the courier by us.

Delivery Charges

The customer is charged based on the weight of the package .

What is the standard delivery time?

We make our best efforts to ship each merchandise in your order within 3-5 working days of the order. It may differ from merchandise to merchandise. However, in some cases, we may take longer, up to 9 working days, to ship the order as we may have to procure it from some other stores or our suppliers. In the unlikely event that we are not able to ship your order completely within 6 days of the order, we shall inform you & as per your instructions cancel the remaining unshipped part of the order, and also send you an email informing you about the same. In such cases, your payment against the unshipped part of the order shall be refunded, in the manner you have made the payment.

This service has a Track & Trace facility from the service providers website. School Book Udupi does not take responsibility for delivery beyond the standard delivery timelines mentioned above in case of service provider has issues and Acts of God.

Intimation

With every order, you will receive an email containing the details of the order placed by you. Once we ship the item(s), you will receive another email containing the shipping details.

How will the delivery be done?

We process all deliveries from our Udupi Warehouse facility through reputed couriers, but majorly through Indian Postal service.

Does www.schoolbookudupi.in deliver internationally?

We don't offer international shipping currently.

Tampered Shipment

If you believe that the merchandise is not in a good condition, or if the packaging is tampered with or damaged, before accepting delivery of the merchandise, please accept the delivery under protest, and call our Customer Care or mail us at estore@schoolbookudupi.in, +919880009077, mentioning your order reference number. We shall make our best efforts to ensure that a replacement delivery is made to you at the earliest.

Return Policy

We offer you a 5 days replacement guarantee at no extra cost for goods purchased on the website if they are found defective or damaged products or not as described on the website, adhering to certain conditions that are mentioned herein.

  • The customers will have to notify us about the defect or the damage within 48 hours from the receipt of the product by filling in the required form.
  • In case, the customer fails to inform us within 48 hours, we reserve the right to reject or accept the request.
  • We can replace the defective or damaged product with a brand new one without charging any extra amount.

However, the replacement guarantee is valid only if the defect is from the manufacturer or if damages are during transportation. We will consider the damage as invalid if it is due to normal tearing and wearing or if there has been any kind of negligence on part of the customer. If our customers come across any such issues with any product, they should contact with the customer service within 48 hours. Failing this, we might decide to deny the request for replacement.

We will also make all efforts to replace the specific product that was ordered and being returned. In case the product is out of stock upon return, we have the right to give an alternate product, however, we will intimate the customer about such issues and seek customers views before redispatch. Cash will not be repaid at any point in time.

On the other hand, availing digital contents like e books are not returnable/replaceable.
